As reported at the end of last year on The Careers Groups own news blog, we have been awarded funding from HECSU (Higher Education Careers Unit Service) to carry out some research into How Students Use Social Networking To Develop Their Careers.

Michael Clarke will be heading the research and will hopefully have some initial findings to present at the Exploding Myths conference in May. As Assistant Director for The Careers Group he has been at the driving force behind the development of our online content, including the Careers, Tagged project.
Prior to joining The Careers Group, Michael Clarke worked as Navigation Producer for BBC Online, he played a major part in the launch of BBC Online and (with Lizzie Jackson) developed the first BBC Communities platform.
His full biography will go live on the Exploding Myths website very soon.
